MS Walk

This past weekend our family was able to participate in the Lakeland MS Walk. Our good friend James Purdy was diagnosed with MS a couple years ago so we participated in the walk to support him and his young family. His/our team was called, "MS Ain't Purdy" and we were able to raise $30,000! Here are some photos from the walk:

Thanks to everyone who supported Liam for this walk. He met his goal and raised just over $1,000!!

Our weekend getaway

Josh and I were able to get away for the May 1st and 2nd weekend to the beautiful town of Banff. We were there for a marriage conference and were able to stay for 3 nights in the Banff Springs hotel. It was definitely a treat to stay in such a fancy hotel and with great rates too because of the conference. It was nice to get away for the weekend and reconnect away from the busy routine of life.

As nice as it was to get away, we were definitely excited to get back and see this little guy :)

Snapshots from our Weekened

Easter was spent in Bonnyville this year and it was great to have Rachel and Jared home for the weekend. They had both brought their roommates, and Sarah and Brad came up for the day on Sunday. It was definitely a full house at John and Tam's.

We had a couple days of beautiful sunshine and Liam loved being outside. He never wanted to come in.

And to end off here's a funny picture of Liam. On Saturday morning we got up to find him filling up Emmett's dog food. I guess he thinks we don't feed him enough :)

Liam is starting to talk more everyday and is saying more words than just "ball". Even though his mama, grandma, and Emmett all sound the same. :)

Now he can repeat a lot of words we ask him to say. They're not always the easiest to understand but you can tell he's trying.

Liam's new thing is to take things from the cleaning closet and copy what mommy does.

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

I know, we're a little behind...this week has been quite busy as we are getting back into the swing of things. We were out every night last week, so thankfully today I could finally update our blog with our Christmas pictures.

(Side note: This post was started a week ago, and is finally getting posted today :)

After the cruise we headed to Vernon. It was funny going from one extreme weather condition to another in less then 24 hours. The night we got there, our church was putting on "Bethelehem Star" a real life nativity.
