Weekend Trip to Jasper

Last weekend, our family went to Jasper for the weekend. It was a packed filled weekend going to all the beautiful touristy sites. I had driven through Jasper so many times, but this was the first time I actually went to places and stayed overnight.
Jasper is so beautiful and we're so glad that we had the chance to go with John, Tammy, and Rachel for this little weekend getaway.

Mount Whistler: We went up the tramway and then hiked up the mountain.

Josh and Liam overlooking Jasper

This is the hike.
We forgot to bring a backpack for Liam so Tammy and I only made it this far :)

Josh, Rachel, and John went ALL the way to the top.

Then we headed to Athabasca falls for Lunch.

After heading to our little cottage for a rest we then to Maligne Canyon. So gorgeous. This is at the bottom of the canyon cause we were now pretty close the the water.

The next day we headed to some hotsprings by Pocahontas. I had never been in any hotsprings before and it was a wonderful experience. I never got any pictures as I was too busy enjoying the water so I stole this one off the internet so you get the idea :)

The whole weekend we played the licence plate game where we tried to find as many states and provinces as possible. We actually found a plate from Hawaii! We would always drive around the parking lots a couple times just to make sure we didn't miss any :) Brought back some good memories of growing up.

Well Laura - just to let you know you have been to the Hot Springs in Banff. The picture of you with the blond hair playing in the dirt was taken at Radium Hot Springs. I can't believe you can't remember that!!!! They are great pictures. Maybe we should do a family holiday to some hot springs?! Mom
