Party Time

Yesterday, I turned 23...don't feel any different though :) I love birthdays, mine or someone else's. I just love how we have a day to celebrate someone's life.
Josh spoiled me and walked in the door with a beautiful bouquet of red roses. Then gave me some dishes from Princess house that will be perfect to use for Thanksgiving because my family is coming to our house this year!

I also got a beautiful bouquet of flowers from John and Tammy. They surprised me by sending them to me at work.

Josh took me out for a fabulous dinner and then we did some shopping. We grabbed a McCain's frozen cake (one of my favorites) to eat when we got home. Emmett wanted to share in the birthday fun :)

My wonderful husband.

As you can see, I had a lot of fun on blogger last night editing my blog. In the end, I only changed some colors but I like it better...

Well I've decided it's about time to post some pictures of our house. No, it's not yet finished but I just won't show you pictures of our kitchen. The countertops are supposed to be in this weekend, so I'll post the kitchen when it's looking a little better :)
So here are the before and after pictures. Note: The before pictures are taken when we first saw the house. So the other people were still living in it with all their stuff.

I had a fabulous long weekend!! It all started off, coming home from work on Friday to a clean house and bouquet of flowers on my coffee table. Josh had taken the day off, (never told me) and got some work done on our house...and to top it off got me flowers!! I love him...

Then to make the weekend even better, Josh and I headed to Glendon for PYROGY Days on Saturday with John and some cousins. Now anyone that knows me well, knows that I LOVE pyrogies so it's funny how I ended up living close to the largest Pyrogy in the world. So every year this small town has their pyrogy days, which some might think would be corny to go too but it was actually so much fun! When we walked into the hall, there was a man singing the pyrogy national anthem, and the smell of pyrogies with onions and sausage frying filled the room. What better way to spend a Saturday then to eat pyrogies....

Josh and I enjoying our pyrogies.

Of course we couldn't go to Glendon without getting a picture with the Pyrogy :)

It was funny cause as we were taking pictures, there was a bridal party getting ready to take some too! Who wouldn't want their wedding pictures near the biggest pyrogy :)
